New Finding Aids Available at TARO; Preliminary Guide to Dielmann Additions Now Online

October 20, 2010

Finding aids for the archival collections listed below have been encoded and published online through Texas Archival Resources Online (TARO).

For several of these collections, this is the first time a finding aid has been available and searchable online. Perhaps most significantly, a preliminary guide to the collection of additions to the Library’s Leo M. J. Dielmann papers has been encoded and is now available online through TARO and DRT Library’s catalog. The bulk of the Dielmann additions consists of architectural drawings and other project records for well over 400 buildings designed by Dielmann. These structures are located in San Antonio and throughout Texas. A significant number of drawings are for churches, particularly Catholic churches, and other religious structures such as rectories, convents, and church-run institutions such as schools and hospitals.
