Tenth Family History Seminar: “Investigating Your Family History”

July 14, 2010

Join us on Saturday, August 28, for our tenth Family History Seminar, “Investigating Your Family History.” Our special guest speaker will be Kelvin Meyers, who is a contract forensic genealogist, researcher, author, and lecturer. His four talks will explore how to find female ancestors; locate and use church records; research ancestors’ neighbors; and access prison, asylum, and court records.

Registration is $45 per person and includes a boxed lunch. Reservations will remain open as long as seating is available. Additional information about the seminar – including a schedule, a biography of Mr. Meyers, a description of each lecture, and a registration form – is available on the library’s website. You can also call the library at 210-225-1071 or send an email to if you have additional questions or if you want to reserve a spot at the seminar before submitting your registration form and fee.

We hope to see you on August 28th!

Oh how I wish this could be available as an mp3 to download! I can’t attend the presentation but would love to hear the information.
